About Me
I have always liked animals for as long as I can remember ,but it wasn’t until the age of 15 when I got my first family dog. Until then we had had cats , one of whom was affectionetly named after the famous five dog Timothy and was my first experience of animal training ; Timmy was trained to : sit on cue, give paw , come back to me and negotiage small obstacle courses.
My family dog Becks was a rescue puppy from the local kennels and taught me an awful lot as she wasn’t necessairly an easy dog.

When I moved into my own place a little farm collie pup soon joined me , Holly was the dog that saw me become involved in the competiive dog sports scene. She was trained for and competed in competitive obedience shows .

I started to thoroughly enjoy training dogs and was quickly hooked and became a multi dog household. My next dog Ben another farm collie pup joined us but unfortunately at 6 months old we discovered he had hip dysplasia . He went on to have an operation and was the best companion.

Each dog has taught me important lessons in dog training and has helped me to help others to train their own dogs . Snoopy a wire pointer x labrador joined the family in 2012 and again we trained competitive obedience together with a good deal of success . We qualified for the special pre beginner stakes at Crufts in 2014 , he was just two years old. He also introduced me to the world of competitive agility as with my previous collies I had only dabbled with agility for fun . In agility he took me from grade 1 to 4 before retiring due to a chronic ear problem.

Rosie my first pedigree border collie joined us in 2014 and introduced me to flyball and scentwork as well as enjoying obedience and agility. In 2016 she had her first litter and I kept Blitz who is my current agility and hoopers dog .

Rosie
Blitz is currently grade 5 in agility and attended Crufts 2025 in the hoopers display team and the YKC Jumping Cup with my daughter. She wasn’t the easiest dog and can be nervous and isn’t keen on other dogs . But a lot of training later and most of the time you wouldn’t know.

Chase is my youngest agility dog who is currently grade 3 and my first dog that I successfuly taught a running dog walk.
